You are new in town or want to discover Bayreuth and the region in a new way – then come along to our event for explorers!
This time, our regional excursion goes to the popular Franconian Switzerland – Franconian Jura Nature Park just outside Bayreuth. We will take you on a discovery tour and offer you 3 of the highlights of the 22 leisure activities of the Pottenstein Adventure Mile.

1. Stalactite Cave Devil’s Cave (Teufelshöhle)
Meeting point: Devil’s Cave car park, 91278 Pottenstein, 10:15 a.m.
Costs: Adults from 16 years 5 €, children 3 € (reduced prices)
Start: Guided tour 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Language: German
Notes: 400 steps, 9°C (warm clothing and sturdy shoes recommended)
2. Adventure rock (Erlebnisfelsen)
11:30 a.m.: 30-minute hike to the adventure rock, start at Teufelshöhle car park, 91278 Pottenstein
12:00 – 14:00 Stay
Summer tobogganing (1 free ride on the red or yellow Frankenbob)
Common refreshment stop (individual costs)
Possibility to use the other attractions in the leisure park (individual costs)
3. Outdoor swimming pool “Felsenbad Pottenstein”
From 14:00 hike from the rock to the outdoor pool
14:30 Stay
Admission prices: Adults €4.50, children €2.50 (cash payment)
Return carpool to BT 16:30
Open until 19:00
