On a boat tour through the idyllic valleys of the river Wiesent, you will paddle past some of the region’s most beautiful sights and enjoy a magnificent view from the water. Come with us on a kayak tour from the provider Leinen los!

The tour:
The classic tour promises pure paddling fun and offers enough time to take advantage of refreshment stops in Muggendorf. The 12.9 km stretch from Behringersmühle station to Streitberg is wonderfully varied. Quiet, leisurely river sections alternate here with fascinating views of the banks and sparkling rapids. You can expect idyllic and spectacular impressions including the view of the famous castle ruin Neideck , which is high above the valley of the river Wiesent.

Meeting place/arrival: Saturday, 28.8.2021, 11 a.m. to approx. 4:30 p.m.
– If you travel yourself: 11 a.m., Behringersmühle 28 train station, 91327 Gößweinstein (starting point of the tour):
– Free carpooling: 10:15 a.m., Tourist-Info, Opernstraße 22, Bayreuth (please contact us or fill out the form)
Ending point: Streitberg (approx. 12.9 km); pick-up time by Leinen los: 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
Prices: 2-person kayak: 36.00 € / person (kayaking is from 8 – 12 years / swimming skills required) and only in the company of adults possible.
Payment: On site in cash.
Number of participants: Max. 12 persons per day. The event will only take place with a minimum of 5 participants.
Registration deadline: Please make a binding booking using the registration form by 15.8.21.
